On September 20, 2023，Consul General Liu Hongmei met with Nakhon Ratchasima Vice Governor Charin. Responsible officials from Provincial General Office, Commerce Bureau, Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Association attended the meeting.

Consul General Liu pointed out that Nakhon Ratchasima is the gateway of Northeast Thailand and a significant economic center and tranportation hub. She hoped that the province volume up its  location advantages, actively promote concrete developments on areas including China-Thai Railway construction and sister province cooperation. Chinese Consulate General is willing to provide necessary support so as to jointly contribute to building a China-Thailand community with a shared future.

Vice Governor Charin welcomed Consul General Liu on her assumption of office and said that Nakhon Ratchasima enjoyed good business environment and rich tourism resources.He looked forward to deepening practical cooperation with China on areas such as agriculture, trade, investment, tourism and sister cities in a bid to promote closer exchanges between the two countries as well as local communication.
